Epinex has been invited to participate in a diabetes conference being hosted by the New York Academy of Science (NYAS) on Tuesday, September 15th, 2009 in New York City. The symposium, titled "Type 2 Diabetes Disparities in Ethnic Minorities: Origin, Challenges and Solutions,” brings together a panel of renowned doctors and scientists from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Harvard Medical School and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine to discuss the origin of Type 2 diabetes disparities in minority populations, associated cardiovascular complications, and the public health approaches to control and prevent the disease epidemic.
